From Wellington , New Zealand comes the fabulous band 'Odessa' . Reunited late last year after not playing together for almost 11-12 years! They have been gigging fairly consistently since with two of the original members lead singer Matthew Pender and Bassist Paul Mouncey.

This is a performance they did back in April this year at NZ's biggest annual street fair/festival - Newtown Festival in the close to the city suburb Newtown in Wellington. The Festival goes for over a week but the actual fair day where all the live performances of music happens is just on the one day usually a Sunday. It's usually in March but was postponed this year by a month due to a Covid level change in March which restricts crowd numbers etc. So this was Sunday 11th April 2021. Gig started at 12.50pm, on the outdoor Wilson St stage. Entry was Free as was the whole Fair Day.

The song performed here 'Join The Club' (Armitage/Mouncey/Pender/Swain) is an original of the bands.
