A review of some of the case for Petra as the location of the first Kaaba. Dan Gibson has proposed now only there are mosques that pointed towards but Petra but that he has identified the original site of a Kaaba there. The argument is that there are some qiblas that don't point to Mecca and that point towards the vicinity of Petra. But is the accompanying interpretation of a kaaba there correct?
